Swansea City defender Neil Taylor believes that manager Brendan Rodgers is "destined" to take charge of a top-four club in the Premier League.
The 39-year-old boss, who is being widely tipped to receive the Manager of the Year accolade, has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
"I think he is destined for a top-four job and I will openly say that," the Daily Star quotes Taylor as saying. "If you speak to any of the Chelsea boys who had him when he was there, people like John Terry and Frank Lampard, they speak really highly of him.
"Everyone is chuffed for Brendan but we are hoping we can hang on to him. People talk about how good Harry Redknapp is as a man-manager, getting the best out of players. Brendan has done it with our boys and he has done it on a minimal budget."
Despite reports suggesting that Rodgers is poised for an exit from the Liberty Stadium, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted that the club are determined to keep hold of the highly-regarded coach.
