Tottenham Hotspur's goal tally for season now only bettered by Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur become just the second team in Europe's top five leagues, after Bayern Munich, to chalk up 100 goals in all competitions this season.

Tottenham Hotspur became just the second team in Europe's top five leagues to chalk up a century of goals across all competitions in the 2020-21 season with their 4-1 thrashing of Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho's men have endured an inconsistent domestic campaign, but they needed no second invitation to sweep aside Crystal Palace 4-1 on Sunday thanks to doubles from Gareth Bale and Harry Kane.

With Kane, Bale and Son Heung-min in their ranks, Spurs and their rampant attackers have now reached 100 goals in all competitions this season - the most in the Premier League and only behind Bayern (106) in Europe's big leagues.

Spurs have found the back of the net four times in four of their last six matches across all competitions - having also done so against Burnley and Wolfsberger twice - while their record of 24 home points in the Premier League this season can only be bettered by league leaders Manchester City (35).

Mourinho's side rose to sixth following their third Premier League win in succession, and the North London outfit now lie two points adrift of the Champions League places as the top-four race hots up.
