The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Tottenham Hotspur eye possible reinforcements.
Spurs were among the biggest spenders during the January transfer window but are expected to be active again in the summer as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Saturday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester City to rival Tottenham Hotspur for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg?
Manchester City are reportedly considering whether to make a bid for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
While the Denmark international has previously been regarded as a key man at St Mary's, the 24-year-old was recently stripped of the captaincy due to his desire to leave this summer.
With just one year remaining on his contract, Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with an approach for the player before the beginning of next season.
However, according to the Daily Record, City are also monitoring the situation as they contemplate making new additions.
Although Pep Guardiola is well stocked for options in the middle of the pitch, City could arguably benefit from having a box-to-box midfielder in their ranks.
Despite his contract situation, Southampton may demand in excess of £15m for Hojbjerg.
Tottenham Hotspur 'offer Willian lucrative contract'
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered Chelsea attacker Willian a lucrative deal to join Jose Mourinho's ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Brazil international is contracted to the Blues until the end of the 2019-20 season but his long-term future at Stamford Bridge remains open for discussion.
According to Football Insider, Mourinho has already held talks with Willian over a potential move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Spurs have now put a lucrative contract on the table.
The report claims that Willian has also been offered 'a big signing-on fee' to move to North London.
The South American, who is believed to want a three-year deal at Chelsea, has scored 11 times and provided nine assists in 43 appearances for Frank Lampard's side this season.
The 31-year-old has been in impressive form for the Blues since the Premier League restart last month, scoring four times and providing two assists in five top-flight appearances.
