Jose Mourinho reportedly plans to allow Christian Eriksen to leave Tottenham Hotspur if the player remains intent on securing a move away over the summer.

Jose Mourinho will reportedly not stand in the way of Christian Eriksen leaving Tottenham Hotspur if the midfielder remains intent on exiting the club next summer.

The Dane, as things stand, will leave Spurs for free at the end of the season after failing to agree fresh terms with Tottenham.

Reports have stated that Mourinho, who became Spurs manager on Wednesday, will hold talks with Eriksen to gauge the extent of his commitment to the club.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho will not stand in the way of Eriksen's departure if that continues to be the player's preference.

It is claimed that Eriksen, who is free to speak with other clubs in January, has attracted interest from Juventus and Real Madrid.

Toby Alderweireld, another player out of contract in June, is said to be considering a new deal at the North London club following Mourinho's arrival.
