Tottenham Hotspur sporting director Fabio Paratici has played down reports linking his side with a double swoop for Inter Milan duo Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic.
Despite bringing in Cristian Romero during the summer window, Spurs are being tipped to bolster their defence with the signing of Skriniar, who has less than two years left to run on his Nerazzurri deal.
Brozovic is out of contract next summer but is thought to be keen to extend his stay at San Siro, and Paratici has affirmed that Spurs are not in the race for the duo's services.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paratici said: "Rumours around about Milan Skriniar to Spurs are not accurate. We're not working to sign Marcelo Brozovic [as free agent], he's Inter player and it's not even a topic for us."
The Spurs chief was also asked about his side's rumoured interest in much-coveted Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic but refused to comment on reports claiming that Tottenham were in the race for his services.
Chelsea were also linked with a move for Skriniar in the summer window, while Brozovic is thought to have caught the eye of the Blues as well as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
