Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has claimed that the thought of signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has not crossed his mind.
Recent reports emerged claiming that the Spanish giants were pondering a mega swap deal that would involve Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric.
Kane has impressed the football world with his goalscoring efforts this season, netting 17 for club and country since the start of September.
However, Perez has insisted that he is content with Madrid's current attacking options and thinks that Spurs would demand a world-record €250m (£222m) figure for their talisman.
"Signing Harry Kane has not passed through my head," the Real president told Cadena COPE. "He is a great player and in addition he is young.
"He has many years to progress, but we are delighted with Benzema and with all of the team. I didn't ask Tottenham's president for the price because he would have told me that he is worth €250m."
Kane recently played down talk of a move elsewhere by insisting that he would "love" to be a one-club man.
