Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly begun official talks with Lyon in an attempt to agree a deal for France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has told the 25-year-old stopper that he can leave Stade Gerland this summer providing the club's valuation of £16m is met.
Lloris is keen to move to White Hart Lane and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is trying to negotiate his price down to £12m, according to The Mirror.
The player's current contract has 36 months left to run.
