Tottenham Hotspur reportedly identify RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer as a potential replacement for Dele Alli.

RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

The Premier League outfit are currently well-stocked for options in the centre of the pitch, something which has contributed to Dele Alli dropping down the pecking order.

Providing that the North London outfit can find a buyer for the England international, Jose Mourinho will have the funds to bring in a like-for-like replacement.

According to Bild, Spurs are contemplating an approach for Sabitzer, aware that the Austrian has just over 18 months remaining on his contract.

Although the 26-year-old remains an important part of Leipzig's squad, he may be open to taking on a new challenge in the future.

During his five years-and-a-half years at the Bundesliga side, Sabitzer has scored 37 goals from 162 appearance in all competitions.
