Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho will reportedly prioritise the signing of Benfica defender Ruben Dias during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to make a big-money approach for Benfica defender Ruben Dias.

Jose Mourinho was surprisingly active during the January transfer window, adding Gedson Fernandes and Steven Bergwijn to his first-team squad.

However, according to Noticiasaominuto, the Portuguese is ready to bring in more fresh faces before the beginning of next season.

With Spurs having struggled to keep clean sheets, it is claimed that the North London outfit will prioritise the pursuit of Dias.

Despite the 22-year-old having recently penned a new contract, the centre-back is said to have a release clause in his deal.

Dias could potentially replace Jan Vertonghen, who is yet to agree fresh terms with Spurs.
