Tottenham Hotspur are not prepared to let Eric Dier or Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg follow Jose Mourinho to Roma, according to a report.
The recently-sacked Spurs boss is confirmed to be replacing Paulo Fonseca at Roma for the 2021-22 campaign, and a busy summer of transfer business awaits for the Portuguese.
Mourinho has been tipped to welcome former players Dier and Hojbjerg to the Stadio Olimpico, while Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura have also been linked with moves to the Serie A powerhouses.
However, The Sun reports that neither Dier nor Hojbjerg will be allowed to leave the club this summer, and both players are against the idea of a move to Roma in any case.
A source told the publication: "There is no way we would sell either of these players. Of course, the new manager would have the final say.
"But you cannot see who whoever comes in wanting to let them go either. Both are incredibly important members of the team and you cannot see that changing."
Mourinho is also thought to be pursuing Manchester United duo David de Gea and Donny van de Beek for his new-look Roma side.
