Atalanta defender Timothy Castagne claims that he would not turn down a move to Tottenham Hotspur or Paris Saint-Germain if either club came knocking.

Atalanta defender Timothy Castagne has confessed that he would jump at the chance to move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 24-year-old only has one year left to run on his contract with Atalanta and has been strongly linked with a move away from Serie A in recent months.

Tottenham are said to be in the market for a new right-back given the uncertainty surrounding Serge Aurier's future in North London, and Castagne has confirmed that he is ready to take the next step in his career amid reported interest from Spurs and Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking to Belgian outlet La Derniere Heure, Castagne said: "I think the time has come to move on, but I won't be disappointed if I stay in Bergamo.

"I'm very proud of this. It's proof that hard work pays off. I hope it's more than just simple interest from them.

"You have to be honest with yourself. When a team like PSG or Tottenham come knocking on your door, you can't say 'no'."

Castagne has chalked up 84 appearances for Atalanta since his arrival from Genk in 2017, and the Belgium international has scored eight goals for the Italian outfit in that time.
