Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has said that he was "naturally delighted" after his side's 1-0 win at Stoke City.
James McClean's goal earned the Black Cats the three points in heavy snow at the Britannia Stadium.
O'Neill's side have now taken 22 out of the last 30 points in the league.
"Naturally delighted to win the game, the conditions were pretty atrocious and they got worse as the game went on, I was just very pleased to have finished the game," he told Sky Sports News.
"I think I have played and managed in conditions every bit as bad as that, but it's a difficult decision for everyone once the game starts and it's been going underway and it was okay, or reasonably okay at the start.
"Obviously as the game progresses and conditions get worse it gets more difficult to make decisions, but naturally we are delighted the game continued on after we had scored in it."
Sunderland have remained eighth in the Premier League table with the win.
