Swansea City boss Garry Monk vows to hold on to players

Swansea City manager Garry Monk is adamant that none of his players will be leaving this transfer window.

Swansea City boss Garry Monk has insisted that none of his players will be sold before the summer transfer window closes.

Everton have been linked with Swans defender Ashley Williams as a potential replacement for Chelsea target John Stones, but Monk said that he would only be open to "astronomical" offers.

"There will be no-one going out. I am very happy with the squad, this is the squad I wanted at the start of the summer," the Daily Star quotes him as saying.

"We do not have to sell any of our players and as I've always said it would take an astronomical offer for us to even consider it."

Swansea are back in Premier League action this weekend when they pay a visit to Sunderland.
