Ronnie Moore: 'Tranmere Rovers must show right attitude'

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore says that his side must adopt a "positive attitude" when they face Peterborough United this weekend.

Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore has warned his players that they must show a "positive attitude" when they face Peterborough United on Saturday.

Rovers have lost their last two meetings against Posh 5-0, in the FA Cup in December and the league in August.

Moore believes that his side should aim to stop Peterborough playing their best football at London Road.

"Hopefully we can make up for the two games we have had in the past, getting beaten 10-0 on aggregate," he told BBC Radio Merseyside. "We don't need to go there panicking because it is in the past.

"The players will be embarrassed because there is nothing worse than two 5-0 defeats against the same team. You would like to go there with a positive attitude and think that isn't going to happen again.

"We need the right attitude and stop them from playing. We didn't keep the ball well enough last time and if you don't do that against good sides, you get punished."

Tranmere sit 20th in League One ahead of this weekend's match, while Peterborough are seventh.
