Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in the Championship on Tuesday, August 18.
Tuesday morning's Championship transfer talk news roundup:
Ethan Ampadu pushing to remain at Chelsea?
Ethan Ampadu has reportedly told Chelsea boss Frank Lampard that he wishes to remain at Stamford Bridge next season.
The 19-year-old was provided with just two starts and five substitute appearances in all competitions on loan at RB Leipzig last campaign.
Given his lack of game time, Chelsea are open to allowing the Wales international to go elsewhere again, potentially to West London neighbours Fulham.
However, according to Goal, Ampadu has informed Lampard that he wants to fight for his place in the Blues first-team squad.
Although the youngster would only likely remain as a fringe member, he would provide valuable backup in defence and midfield.
Lampard is keen for different options in the centre of his backline, while academy graduate Billy Gilmour will be sidelined until at least October with a knee injury.
Chelsea place £20m price-tag on Leeds United target Michy Batshuayi?
Chelsea have reportedly placed a £20m price-tag on out-of-favour forward Michy Batshuayi.
With Timo Werner having arrived from RB Leipzig, Frank Lampard is prepared to cash in on the Belgium international during the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old has endured another frustrating 12 months at Stamford Bridge, scoring six goals from just five starts and 19 substitute outings in all competitions.
Nevertheless, Het Laatste Nieuws claims that club officials still want to recoup as much as £20m for the player ahead of next season.
As they prepare for their return to the top flight, Leeds United are said to be one of a number of clubs who are monitoring the situation.
However, it appears unlikely that the Yorkshire giants will be willing to commit such a significant financial outlay on the player.
