Former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is reportedly nearing a move to Indian Super League outfit Kerala Blasters.
Berbatov has not had a club since leaving Greek outfit PAOK at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
It had been suggested that the 36-year-old would hang up his boots this summer, but according to Sky Sports News, the experienced forward is heading for Indian club Kerala Blasters, who are managed by former Man United coach Rene Meulensteen.
Former Red Devils teammate Wes Brown joined the Cochin-based club on Tuesday, while Berbatov's former Tottenham Hotspur strike partner Robbie Keane will also play in the fourth edition of the league after moving to Atletico Kolkata.
Berbatov has represented CSKA Sofia, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham, Man United, Fulham, AS Monaco and PAOK during a well-travelled career.
