Wales boss Chris Coleman 'wanted in China'

A report claims that Wales boss Chris Coleman is wanted by Chinese Super League clubs Yanbian Funde and Tianjin TEDA.

Wales boss Chris Coleman is reportedly wanted by Chinese Super League clubs Yanbian Funde and Tianjin TEDA, who finished ninth and 10th respectively in the 2016 Chinese Super League.

Coleman, who led Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016, signed a new two-year contract extension with his national team in May, which will run until after the 2018 World Cup.

However, according to Sky Sports News, Chinese Super League duo Yanbian Funde and Tianjin TEDA will attempt to turn the manager's head with the offer of a substantial contract.

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas recently signed an £11m deal with Shanghai SIPG, while former Italy head coach Marcelo Lippi is believed to be on an £18m contract as manager of China's national team.

Coleman, 46, has managed Fulham, Real Sociedad, Coventry City, Larissa and Wales since retiring from professional football in 2002.
