Bologna defender Adam Masina has reportedly moved a step closer to finalising his proposed move to Watford after completing a medical with the club.
The Hornets will officially announce the signing on July 1, according to Sky Sports News.
Masina, who was previously linked with Everton, is said to have cost the Hornets £3.5m.
The left-back is a six-time Italy Under-21 international who joined Bologna in 2013 and helped the club to promotion two years later, winning the Serie B Player of the Year award for 2015.
The Moroccan-born defender is now expected to become Watford's second signing of the summer after they brought in Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona.
