West Bromwich Albion midfielder James McClean has failed to report to pre-season training with the club.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns following their relegation from the Premier League, with Stoke City - who were also relegated - leading the race for his signature.
However, West Brom are holding out for a bid of £6m for McClean, whereas Stoke are only prepared to pay £4m for the winger.
McClean has attempted to push through a move by going AWOL from training, and he will now face internal disciplinary proceedings from the Baggies.
The Republic of Ireland international has been with the club for the past three years, making 112 appearances during that time.
