Graham Dorrans: 'West Bromwich Albion start was unacceptable'

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans says that the team's start to their match against Manchester City was "unacceptable".

Graham Dorrans has said that West Bromwich Albion's performance in the first 10 minutes of their game against Manchester City was "unacceptable".

The Baggies were two goals behind early on in their Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium last night, going on to lose 3-1.

The midfielder, who scored West Brom's only goal of the night, told the team's website: "The first 10 minutes was unacceptable. We knew they were going to come out flying, that's what they did and we never matched it.

"It's already difficult coming to a place like this, but when you're 2-0 down after ten minutes it makes it even worse. After that we played okay.

"We did well in the second half but unfortunately couldn't nick another goal to get us back in the game. We kept a good shape and we take some positives from the game into Saturday."

West Brom, who remain three points clear of the relegation zone, face West Ham United on Saturday.
