West Ham United co-owner David Gold has insisted that his club have the advantage going into the Championship playoff final.
The Hammers, who beat Cardiff City 5-0 on aggregate, will face Blackpool, who overcame Birmingham City 3-2 over two legs.
The Seasiders gained promotion via the playoffs during their last tenure in the Championship, but Gold insists that West Ham are the favourites to reach the Premier League.
"People talk about having the momentum, what I've seen in the last three or four games is that we're coming into form," Gold told talkSPORT
"Players are running into form, players are fit, the optimism and confidence is all flowing back so we go to Wembley feeling like we [can do it].
"They talk about the sixth team that sneaks into the playoffs and then wins the final because they've got the momentum. Well, I actually think that we're in third place but we've got the momentum and I'm feeling good about that."
West Ham are looking for an immediate return to top-flight football after being relegated from England's top tier last season.
