Carlton Cole has refused to rule out the possibility of him one day signing for boyhood club Brentford.
The 31-year-old, who was born not far from Griffin Park, had an unsuccessful trial with the Bees as a youngster.
However, with his contract at current club West Ham United due to expire in the summer, the former England international striker has hinted that he would strongly consider a move to the Championship side.
"They're going well at the moment. I'm happy for them and they hold a little soft spot in my heart, so you never know," he told Goals on Sunday.
Cole joined the Hammers from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee in July 2006.
