West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has revealed that the club is hoping to sign up to two more players before the start of the season.
The Hammers made their eighth signing of the summer on Wednesday by bringing in Argentine midfielder Manuel Lanzini on loan.
However, Gold is expecting at least one more new face to arrive at Upton Park in the coming weeks.
Responding to a West Ham supporter on Twitter, the businessman tweeted: "Still hoping for one or two more signings before the window closes."
West Ham are in action tonight when they make the trip to Maltese side Birkirkara for the second leg of their Europa League second-round qualifying tie. The Hammers earned a 1-0 victory in the first leg at Upton Park last week.
