West Ham United reportedly face strong competition from abroad to land the signature of outgoing Leicester City midfielder Esteban Cambiasso.
The 34-year-old announced on Tuesday night that he will not be penning a new deal at the King Power Stadium, bringing to an end his one-year stay at the Midlands club.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is thought to be a big fan of the former Argentina international, while the Daily Mail suggests that Anderlecht and a number of unnamed MLS sides are also interested.
Free agent Cambiasso made 33 appearances for the Foxes in the Premier League last term, scoring five goals on his way to being crowned the club's Player of the Year.
