Two goals from Ed Upson and a controversial header just before half time from Byron Webster have Yeovil Town on course for a vital win against Nottingham Forest.
Upson's right-footed drive from outside the box on eight minutes was too good for keeper Karl Darlow and gave the Somerset club the perfect start.
Forest had a great opportunity to equalise when Simon Cox was brought down in the area by Shane Duffy
However, Cox saw his spot kick saved by Wayne Hennessey and was frustrated with his follow-up effort.
The hosts found a second when Ed Upson beat Darlow again with a low drive.
Forest managed an immediate response minutes before the break through Nathaniel Chalobah who nodded home from close range to give his side hope.
Byron Webster scored seconds later with a header that came off the post and was adjudged to have crossed the line despite protests from Forest players.
Yeovil started the game two points adrift at the bottom of the table, while Forest were in the playoff places.
