Winger Chris Ashton has backed Martin Johnson to remain as coach of the England rugby team.
The RFU are yet to decide whether to extend Johnson's contract when it ends in December.
"He's the perfect man for the job," Ashton told Radio 5 Live.
"He's very inspirational, which those who played with him, around him and played under him, would say."
A review into England's disappointing World Cup campaign was recently scrapped following the announcement that Martyn Thomas would be stepping down as acting chief executive of the RFU.
