Gloucester Rugby have confirmed that utility back Tom Marshall will join the club from Super Rugby side Chiefs at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old, who has represented New Zealand at youth level, can play at full-back, centre or on the wing.
"He's got good physical presence but is also a top quality footballer," director of rugby David Humphreys told the club's official website. "His versatility will give us a number of options across the back line.
"Tom's played a significant number of Super Rugby games and has impressed whilst with both the Crusaders and the Chiefs. Yet he's still only 24 and we believe has his best years ahead of him in a Gloucester shirt."
Gloucester are back in action on Sunday when they host Zebre in the European Challenge Cup.
