Billy Burns pens new Gloucester Rugby deal

Fly-half Billy Burns signs a new long-term deal with Gloucester Rugby.

Gloucester Rugby fly-half Billy Burns has penned a long-term contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

The 20-year-old has made 13 senior appearances for the Cherry and Whites following his debut last season.

Burns has featured for England at both Under-18 and Under-20 level.

"Billy has shown that he has all the attributes to be successful in a Cherry and White shirt, and his attitude and application to learn have been top notch," director of rugby David Humphreys told the club's official website. "He's a bright young talent and we hope to see him continuing to progress and fulfilling his undoubted talent."

Gloucester are back in action on Sunday when they host Zebre in the European Challenge Cup.
