Worcester Warriors have swooped to sign young duo Matt Cox and Ryan Mills from local rivals Gloucester.

Both have represented England at Under-20 level and Cox, who made 58 appearances in his time at the Kingsholm club, says that he is looking forward to working under coaches of the calibre of Dean Ryan and Carl Hogg.

Cox said: "When Dean approached me and told me about his plans for my hometown club, I knew it was something I wanted to be part of.

"I've worked closely with Carl at Gloucester and with those two at the helm, I believe the club will be successful in the future."

Worcester entertain Exeter Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup next Saturday.
