Serena Williams is through to the fourth round of the French Open after a routine victory over Sorana Cirstea of Romania.
The number one seed dropped just two games as she came through 6-0 6-2.
In the opening set the contrast between each woman's serve was evident. As Williams powered her way through her service games, Cirstea struggled, giving her opponent a double break advantage with two double-faults.
Williams broke her opponent again with a powerful forehand to win the opening set to love, in just 23 minutes.
The Romanian started the second set a lot better, managing to get into a few more rallies, holding her serve twice and even putting some pressure on the Williams serve.
After missing a couple of break-point opportunities at 2-2, Cirstea lost her own serve to make it 4-2 to Williams.
The American then found her form once again to finish strongly and advance to the next round.
