David Ferrer has made it through to the quarter-finals of the Qatar Open thanks to a straight-sets victory over Tobias Kamke.
Despite seeing his first service game broken, the Spanish world number five broke back twice to take the opening set 6-3.
The 30-year-old looked unusually laboured against the German world number 80, but he managed to break twice in the second set to close out the contest 6-2.
Ferrer will now face Italian world number 64 Paolo Lorenzi for a place in the semi-finals.
