Heather Watson has been defeated by Fanny Stollar in the second round of the Nuremberg Cup.
On Tuesday, Watson ended a four-month losing streak to move through to the last 16 but the British number one lost out 6-3 6-3 to the qualifier.
Like against Katernya Bondarenko in the first round, Watson struggled to hold serve and her Hungarian opponent struck twice to take the opener.
The world number 203 continued to have the better of the contest in the second and after three more breaks on the Watson delivery, victory was wrapped up in just over an hour.
Watson will now make her way to Paris for the start of Roland Garros, with the draw for the second Major of the year being made on Thursday.
