Richard Gasquet overcomes Marcel Granollers test at Wimbledon

Seventh seed Richard Gasquet is through to the third round at Wimbledon with a four-set win over Marcel Granollers.

Richard Gasquet has overturned a one-set deficit to reach the Wimbledon third round with victory over Marcel Granollers.

The seventh seed looked in trouble after dropping the opener but he stormed back to run out a 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-1 winner.

Gasquet, who reached the semi-finals at SW19 last year, had his serve broken twice during the first set but that proved to be his only blip of the match as Granollers soon found himself second-best to the grass-court specialist.

The Frenchman broke serve on six occasions during a contest that lasted two hours 48 minutes to set up a last-32 clash with Albert Ramos-Vinolas.
