Brazilian forward Robinho has agreed to the mutual termination of his contract with AC Milan.
The 31-year-old has been on loan at Santos, where he is expected to sign permanently after ending his contract a year early with the Rossoneri.
"Robinho, Milan says thank you and goodbye," Milan said in a statement on their official website.
"Robinho wore Rossonero from the summer of 2010 until the summer of 2014, and made a significant contribution in terms of goals and performance to the 18th Scudetto won by Milan 2010-11, as well as the Supercoppa in Beijing in August 2011.
"Although the relationship between the club and the Brazilian has been terminated one year before the end of his contract, we do not forget the quality contribution of Robinho to the Milan cause."
Robinho has been included in the Brazil squad to play in this summer's Copa America.
