Arsenal have reportedly established contact with former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri regarding the prospect of replacing Unai Emery as manager.
The Spaniard is under heavy pressure following another poor performance that saw Arsenal salvage a late 2-2 draw at home to Southampton as part of a run of one win from seven games.
According to Football London, Arsenal have spoken with Allegri about the possibility of taking over at the Emirates.
Following the 2-0 defeat at Leicester City earlier this month, it was claimed that Emery had been given a month by the Arsenal hierarchy to turn results around.
Allegri has been out of work since leaving Juventus over the summer following a five-year spell during which he won five Serie A titles.
