Arsenal legend Sol Campbell believes that Arsene Wenger must deliver a trophy to the Emirates Stadium next season to satisfy the club's supporters.
The 37-year-old former England international was an unused substitute the last time that the Gunners claimed silverware - the FA Cup in 2005.
Campbell believes that, while Champions League qualification may still be the priority of the club's hierarchy, an eighth trophiless season would be disastrous for the relationship between the Frenchman and the fans.
Writing for The Guardian, Campbell explained: "Next season is going to be Arsene's most important at Arsenal since he joined in 1996.
"[It will be] a make-or-break campaign as the fans will not be appeased by another year in which a trophy is not won and all they have to fall back on is Champions League qualification."
Campbell made over 200 appearances under Wenger during two spells with the Gunners.
