Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has revealed that he will not include Christopher Samba in his team to face Arsenal on Saturday.
The Rovers captain has had a tumultuous few months at Ewood Park after submitting a transfer request at the beginning of January.
Despite announcing his intention to leave the struggling Premier League side, the 27-year-old failed to find a switch away from the Lancashire club before the end of the transfer window.
While Kean is delighted to keep hold of Samba, the Scottish manager said in a press conference today that he will exclude the defender from his match-day squad this weekend.
