Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he never wanted goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to leave the club.
The Polish shot-stopper decided to move to Swansea City in the summer after coming to the end of his contract at the North London outfit.
Wenger's team will face Fabianski this Sunday when they take on the Welsh club at the Liberty Stadium.
"I didn't want to let him go, he was at the end of his contract," Wenger told reporters. "We didn't sell the player but when you get to 27 or 28 and you're not a regular first choice, you can understand that a player wants to go."
Fabianski spent seven years with Arsenal.
