Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere says that he will "stay strong" after suffering another injury setback.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has admitted his frustration at suffering another setback during his recovery from an ankle injury.

The 20-year-old, who has not featured for the Gunners this season, felt pain in his ankle while running in a training session today and has revealed that he is unaware of when he will return to action.

"It is true I have had a setback," Wilshere wrote on Twitter. "I can't tell you how long I have been set back because I don't know! I am very annoyed but will stay strong."

The England international was originally expected to make his long-awaited comeback in February.
