A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially abusing Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote.
The alleged incident is said to have occurred at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium during the Gunners' 2-1 win over the Magpies on March 12.
Arsenal had carried out an internal investigation following reports that a man had been seen on Sky Sports' live coverage of the match abusing the Ivorian.
A club statement read: "Following an incident during our home Premier League match against Newcastle United on Monday March 12, a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public order offence.
"The suspect has been interviewed and bailed to return to Islington police station in April."
Last month, Tiote signed a new contract that will keep him on Tyneside until 2017.
