Arsenal are reportedly preparing a €50m (£44m) offer for Real Madrid centre-forward Luka Jovic.
Madrid signed Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, but the 22-year-old has struggled to make his mark at the Bernabeu, scoring just twice in 24 appearances for Zinedine Zidane's side.
Jovic has a contract in the Spanish capital until the summer of 2025, but there have been suggestions that the striker could be moved on at the end of the season.
According to reports in Spain, Arsenal are lining up a €50m (£44m) bid in the hope of bringing the Serbia international to the Emirates Stadium during this summer's transfer window.
Jovic scored 36 times in 75 appearances during his time at Frankfurt but has found it difficult to secure a regular spot in Zidane's first XI due to the presence of Karim Benzema.
The Gunners are expected to be in the market for at least one new striker this summer with club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang potentially on his way out.
