Arsenal are reportedly determined to secure the signature of Celtic defender Kieran Tierney before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
Tierney has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium over the last few weeks, with the Gunners already believed to have had two separate bids rejected.
According to The Mirror, though, Unai Emery's side have not given up hope of securing a late deal for the Scotland international ahead of Thursday's deadline.
The 22-year-old, who has not yet played this season as he continues his recovery from a double hernia operation, has a contract at Celtic Park until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Gunners could also reportedly sign David Luiz from Chelsea in the latter stages of the window, with the Brazil international said to have missed a training session on Wednesday in a bid to force a move.
Arsenal, who have already smashed their transfer record this summer to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille, will open their Premier League season away to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
