Sochaux defender Sebastien Corchia has his heart set on a move to Lyon, his agent has revealed.
The 22-year-old full-back, who helped the Cubs avoid relegation from Ligue 1 last season, has previously been linked with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, his representative Francois Gilles has now confirmed that his client is closing in on a switch to the Stade de Gerland.
"Sebastien has chosen. Lyon is the future, this is what he wants [and] is what he has planned," Sky Sports News quotes Gilles as saying. "I can at least confirm that today."
There was also reported interest from Italy in the form of Juventus, Roma and Inter Milan.
