Arsenal are reportedly planning to begin talks with Theo Walcott regarding a new contract in the coming days.
The England international's future has come into question as he has one year left on his current deal, and the club are yet to discuss the matter of fresh terms.
However, according to The Mirror, the Gunners will sit down with Walcott and his representatives in the next two weeks amid reports that Liverpool are keen to sign him.
It is believed that the 26-year-old winger's priority is playing more regularly at the Emirates as opposed to wages.
Walcott, who is said to be on £90,000 a week, has struggled to regain a place in the first team after returning from a knee injury.
