Lucas Perez's agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has revealed that his client has not yet managed to seal a move away from Arsenal because no clubs have matched the Gunners' asking price.
The 28-year-old admitted last month that he wants to leave the Emirates after failing to earn regular game time in his only season at the club so far.
Manager Arsene Wenger played Perez 11 times in the Premier League, and on only two of those occasions did he include the forward in the starting lineup.
Newcastle United, Fenerbahce and the player's former club Deportivo La Coruna are interested in a deal, but Lovelle has suggested that Arsenal are pricing his client out of a move.
"Lucas wants to play but it depends on Arsenal," Lovelle told Goal.com. "Arsenal want more [money]. We want to leave but if there is no agreement he has a contract with Arsenal. The ideal price is about €12m (£10.8m)."
Perez is believed to be determined to rack up more minutes this season in order to give himself a chance of making the Spain squad for the 2018 World Cup.
