Atletico Madrid reportedly want either Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if they are to sanction Kieran Trippier's move to Arsenal.
The Gunners are still hoping to offload Hector Bellerin before the August transfer deadline, and £34m-rated Trippier has supposedly been identified as an ideal replacement.
However, with Arsenal already spending big on five players this summer, Mikel Arteta's side will supposedly have to entice Atletico into accepting a swap or player-plus-cash deal.
According to The Sun, Atletico will only accept Lacazette or Aubameyang in any deal for Trippier, whose association with Tottenham Hotspur could also complicate a move.
Furthermore, the report adds that Arsenal are not in Atletico's good books following last year's swoop for Thomas Partey, and Arteta does not have a replacement attacker lined up if Aubameyang or Lacazette depart.
Trippier set up six goals en route to the La Liga crown last season, but he has only made two substitute appearances in this season's top flight.
