Arsenal's attempts to sign Sami Khedira have reportedly stalled due to the German's wage demands.
The Real Madrid midfielder has been linked with a £20m move to the Gunners this summer, but the World Cup winner is demanding around £200,000 a week, according to Goal.com.
The salary would make him the highest-paid player at the Emirates, but the Gunners' hierarchy are reluctant to break their wage structure to land the Los Blancos star.
Manager Arsene Wenger is prepared to turn his attention to Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin should the Khedira deal fall through.
