Liverpool are reportedly lining up a move for young Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and is free to discuss pre-contract terms with overseas clubs, although he would have to wait until May to speak to domestic clubs regarding a move.
Arsenal are hoping to keep Akpom at the Emirates Stadium and have offered him a new deal in a bid to fend off interest from other sides.
Liverpool are the latest club to have joined the race to sign the forward, according to The Metro.
The report adds that Manchester City are also looking to secure Akpom's signature, while Borussia Dortmund and FC Twente have already offered pre-contracts.
Akpom has made four substitute appearances for the Gunners this season.
