Arsenal have reportedly moved to the brink of signing Denis Suarez from Barcelona.
There have been claims that the Gunners are short of funds for the January transfer window, with loan agreements more likely than permanent additions.
However, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal are close to bringing in Suarez after the 24-year-old dropped down the pecking order at Camp Nou.
Suarez has made 46 appearances in La Liga since moving to the Catalan giants in 2016, but the playmaker has featured for just 41 minutes in Spain's top flight and the Champions League during the current campaign.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is likely to be prepared to hand Suarez more playing time, with the pair having worked together at Sevilla during 2014-15.
The report suggests that the Premier League outfit will pay in the region of £14m for Suarez's signature.
