Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed that he wants to stay at Roma beyond the end of his current loan deal at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old moved to the Italian capital last July after Arsenal signed Petr Cech from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Szczesny has started 31 league games for the Giallorossi to help them to third in the table and needing just two more points to guarantee their place in the Champions League next term.
"I want to stay. It's not all up to me, obviously. I want it to happen, and I know Roma and Arsenal are talking about it, so we'll see what happens," the Poland international told Il Messaggero.
"I'm happy to have helped the team and winning the title must be the next objective for this club."
Szczesny joined Arsenal's youth academy in 2006 and went on to make 181 first-team appearances for the club in all competitions.
